Glandore have announced they will host a golfing tournament with all of the proceeds from the event to be donated to the Irish Youth Foundation (IYF).
The event will take place on August 20th at the Castle Golf Club with tee times between 2 and 4pm.
Entry to the tournament is €500 per team, with all of the proceeds donated directly to the Irish Youth Foundation.
Each entry will also be given 12 tickets for a raffle that will be held later that evening.
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on the day.
Those interested are advised to enter as soon as possible as there are just three lines left for the event.
Food, drinks and prizes will be provided for all participants from 6.30pm
Speaking ahead of the event, Glandore’s Marketing Manager Henry Daly said they were delighted to host the event for such a worthy cause, adding it wasn’t their first time partnering with the Irish Youth Foundation.
“This is our first big campaign with IYF but they have been partners with us for three years and we have raised almost €8,000 for them for their Bloomsday Events over the past three years,
“We also give them four dedicated desks here with Glandore worth approx €19,000 per annum, so that is money that they are saving that can go towards other projects,” he added.
The Irish Youth Foundation’s spokesperson Lucy Masterson said the charity were thrilled that Glandore had chosen to partner with them for the upcoming event, adding that the flexible office space providers had shown “enormous generosity” in recent years through a number of fundraising campaigns and donations which was hugely appreciated by the charity and its members.
