Ardstone homes have received planning permission from an Bord Pleanála for the construction of 590 homes on Scholarstown Road, Knocklyon, Dublin 16.
The approved scheme, which is estimated at €129m, will consist of 480 build-to-rent apartments and a further 110 build-to-sell homes.
The site, on Scholarstown Road is where the former Taoiseach, Liam Cosgrave previously resided.
The build-to-rent units will be a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments spanning over eight blocks and up to 6 storeys in height. The build-to-sell units will be a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom apartments spread across 9 blocks and 3 storeys in height.
The Knocklyon development will also include a gym, creche and retail facilities on the ground floors. The 5.4 hectare scheme will also include large provisions of open greens and play areas.
