Industry 4.0 goes beyond technology adoption, it explores how we run our processes and engage our people. In order to deliver the biggest impact from Industry 4.0, it needs to be assessed from an application area perspective and not just a technology perspective.

The Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) is the first globally recognised Industry 4.0 framework (supported by the World Economic Forum). Its goal is to help industrial companies embarking on an industry 4.0 transformation journey by increasing their chance of success and delivering the maximum possible impact.

Representatives from IMR are the first qualified SIRI assessors in Ireland. This webinar will explain how this powerful framework works including why and how this business-led approach is delivering superior results to the more typical technology-led approach.

Date: Friday, 11th of June
Time: 10:30 am-11:00 am

Presenter: Fergus Quilligan, Director of Analytics at IMR
Fergus received a Ph.D. in astrophysics in 2001 and spent time working onsite in NASA. He then spent 14 years working in Intel in California and Ireland leading their data analytics team and playing a key role in implementing the use of data to drive improvements to key KPIs. He then transitioned to IMR where, as well as participating in research, he engages with companies of all shapes and sizes advising on their digitisation journeys.
