All employees must be provided with training and guidance on the new COVID-19 protocols to minimise the risk of spread of the virus. It is incumbent on all employers to ensure the safety of their workforce but also that of contractors and visitors to their sites. Employers must:

  • Establish and issue a pre-return to work form for workers to complete at least 3 days in advance of the return to work.
  • Provide induction training for all workers.
  • Put in place of the necessary controls identified in the risk assessment to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace.

Additional new online training courses available from FTA Ireland –

  • Safe Load Securing Principles Training
  • Drivers Hours & Working Time Directive Training for Managers

All courses are available on-line and can be booked through our website or by contacting us at [email protected] or 01-8447516.
